Constructed in 312 BC, the Appian Way (Regina Viarum) was Rome’s first great highway, connecting the capital to distant provinces. Initially built for military use, it later became a vital commercial route. Today, much of its original basalt pavement remains, offering visitors a rare chance to walk in the footsteps of ancient travelers. Museum of the Walls – A Walk Through History

Built as a defensive structure in the 3rd century AD, the Aurelian Walls once safeguarded the city from invaders. The Museum of the Walls allows you to step inside this monumental fortification. Walk along 350 meters of ancient battlements, pass through watchtowers, and explore hidden corridors once used by soldiers. The 5th-century Honorian walls still feature their original arrow slits, staircases, and loopholes, later repurposed during the Roman Republic’s struggles in 1848. A special highlight of the museum is a medieval fresco of the Madonna and Child, painted by a hermit inside one of the towers.

San Sebastiano Catacombs – The Secrets Beneath Rome

Please note: The museum does not have an elevator and there are several flights of stairs. It may be difficult to access for visitors with reduced mobility.

-Please note: The choice of vehicle color is not normally guaranteed. According to the number of participants and the availability of the vehicles, we may use two eFiat 500, one 850 Spiaggina eFiat, or a combination of these vehicles. In the event of rain or wet weather, we will need to switch to golf cart vehicles equipped with rain covers to ensure comfort and safety.

-Vehicle preference: You can choose your preferred vehicle color or type, for an additional fee of €150. If we are unable to accommodate your request after the fee has been paid, we will refund the full €150 and provide a 50% discount (€75) on the vehicle preference fee as compensation.

-Age Restriction for Babies: Due to the vintage nature of our vehicles, which are not equipped with seat belts, we cannot install baby seats. Therefore, we cannot legally accommodate babies younger than 3 years old. Only children aged 3 years and above, accompanied by a parent, are permitted on the tour.
