Start your day in Rome with the rich scent of freshly brewed Italian coffee in the air. Under the guidance of a professional local Chef, you’ll dive into two of Italy’s most cherished rituals. First, you’ll prepare traditional moka coffee and a creamy cappuccino. Then, you’ll move on to the star of Italian desserts: the legendary Tiramisù.
Begin by feeling the warmth and rhythm of the bubbling moka pot as you learn how to brew real Italian coffee, just as locals do at home. Your Chef will guide you through the right coffee-to-water ratio, how long to brew, and the correct method to achieve the best flavor. After that, you’ll master the art of steaming and frothing milk into a soft, velvety foam to top your classic cappuccino. This simple morning habit reflects the essence of Italian life: calm, friendly, and full of taste.
Once your coffee skills are in place, it’s time to get hands-on with Tiramisù, the most famous Italian dessert. Step by step, you’ll whip a smooth mascarpone cream, soak ladyfingers in fragrant moka coffee, and build perfect layers that balance sweetness and texture. A final sprinkle of cocoa finishes your dessert with an elegant touch. Throughout the process, your Chef shares practical tips, techniques, and insider secrets so you’ll feel confident recreating Tiramisù in your own kitchen.
To add an extra note of sweetness, you’ll also prepare a small traditional Italian pastry — a final bite of dolcezza that rounds out your Roman-style breakfast spread.
While your Tiramisù has time to rest, you’ll sit down with your fellow participants to enjoy the cappuccino you crafted, along with your dessert and mini pastry. The mood is easygoing and friendly, turning the class into a shared experience of conversation, fun, and genuine Roman warmth.
At the end of the experience, you’ll receive a Graduation Certificate and a digital recipe booklet. That way, you can bring the flavors, aromas, and techniques of Italian coffee and pastry culture back home and recreate this delicious Roman morning whenever you wish.
